IMDA to help more SMEs go digital
Businesses are facing tech disruption around the world and the Singapore government has stepped in assist SMEs go digital. The government agency which is leading the charge is IMDA (Info-communications Media Development Authority) and the assistance programme to raise digital readiness is named SMEs Go Digital.
The government assistance is over $80 million and will span to April 2021. This scheme will help defray up to 70% of technology purchase, cap at $300,000.
